US Army Smith & Wesson S&W Model 1917 Revolver 45 ACP #96046
This is a U.S. Army Model 1917 revolver manufactured by Smith & Wesson, chambered in .45 ACP. Originally issued during World War I, this historic sidearm features a robust frame and military markings. Appears to be all matching with matching numbers on the heel, barrel, and cylinder. The revolver retains much of its original finish and patina and has an excellent bore. A lanyard ring is attached to the butt, and the grip shows wartime wear consistent with age. A desirable piece for collectors of military firearms and early 20th-century sidearms. Classic and historically significant. No import marks.
