Japanese Type 2 Paratrooper Rifle 7.7 Arisaka 1943 #9986
This is a Japanese WWII Arisaka Type 2 Paratrooper rifle chambered in 7.7 Arisaka and is the takedown version of the Type 99. Specifically designed for paratrooper use, this model features a takedown mechanism allowing it to be split into two parts for easier transport. It retains its original wood stock and metal hardware with matching numbers. Matching numbers located on receiver, barrel, bolt (x4), and bayonet lug, A rare collectible rifle, this variant was produced in limited quantities for Japanese airborne forces. The rifle appears to be in used but preserved condition, making it highly desirable for military collectors.
