This is an authentic Colt Model 1851 Navy revolver chambered in .36 caliber and manufactured in 1861. A classic cap-and-ball percussion revolver, the 1851 Navy was widely used during the American Civil War by both Union and Confederate forces. This example retains its historical integrity and would make a fine addition to any antique firearm collection. The revolver features an octagonal barrel and likely showcases patina consistent with its age. Perfect for collectors of Colt historical arms.
