We are offering a 1942 production, 1st series, Japanese Type 14 Nambu Pistol manufactured by the Toriimatsu Branch of the Nagoya Arsenal. It is in excellent overall condition. The bore is excellent. Appears to be all matching including the frame, bolt, trigger, grips, and magazine. No import marks.
Nambu Type 14 semi-automatic pistols are the standard-issue sidearm for the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II. Chambered in 8mm Nambu, this piece showcases historical wartime manufacturing with wooden grip panels and unique striker-fired operation. A desirable piece for collectors of WWII firearms or Japanese military memorabilia. Its historical significance makes it a standout for display or collection.
