Korean War Springfield M1 Garand with correct SA 9-53 barrel # 4345753
Very good condition M1 Garand and original SA 9-53 barrel which is correct for the serial number range. Bore is excellent, and gauges a 1 at the muzzle and a 4 at the throat which should make this a great shooting Garand. Metal is nice with no rust or pitting. Very good walnut stock and hand guards with no visible cartouches. At one point this was used by the British and has British proof and import marks.
