This is a Mauser Chileno Modelo 1895 bolt-action rifle, manufactured by Loewe in Berlin for the Chilean military. Chambered in 7x57mm Mauser, this rifle represents a prime example of late 19th-century military engineering and is highly regarded for its smooth action and historical significance. This particular piece appears to retain its original markings and patina, with wear consistent with age and military use. Appears to be all matching, with matching numbers on the receiver, bolt, stock, trigger housing, and floor plate. Bore is very good with slight roughness toward the chamber. It features a full-length wooden stock and original iron sights. Ideal for collectors of antique military rifles or Mauser enthusiasts. No import marks.
