Winchester Model 1890 22 Short #357490
The Winchester Model 1890 is a classic slide-action .22 caliber rifle, designed by John Browning and produced by Winchester Repeating Arms. This particular piece shows rich patina and aging, common on well-maintained rifles from the early 20th century. The octagonal barrel and visible patent dates on the barrel indicate early manufacture. Bore appears to be very good. Originally chambered in .22 short rifle, this rifle was a favorite for small game hunting and shooting galleries. A must-have for collectors of classic American firearms.
