Description
WW2 Standard Products M1 Carbine Correct Grade #2113127
This is an example of a rare Standard Products M1 Carbine, with only 247,000 made, compared to 2.6 million by Inland. Standard Products only had one block of production from April 1943 to May 1944. Standard Products did not make their own barrels, but this one has an excellent Underwood 7-43 barrel with shiny bore that measures just over a 1 using a CMP gauge. Rifle appears to be all matching including: S-S3 butt plate, S-HB high-wood stock with ordnance wheel cartouche and S-HB hand guard, square S rear flip-sight, unmarked type 2 sling swivel on type 1 front band, SN front sight, Standard Products recoil lug, S 10-A trigger housing, SW magazine catch, unmarked push safety, SW sear, S-HR trigger, circle S slide, S flat bolt, and SDP firing pin. Hammer (although it is an early dog-leg) and unmarked extractor may not be correct for Standard Products, although there was lateral support between manufacturing companies. No import marks.
