Description
WW2 Underwood M1 Carbine Subcontract by Singer Sewing Machine #2643315
This is an excellent example of a Singer Sewing Machine built receiver for Underwood during the 2nd block of production built from July 1943 to March 1944. Many U marked Underwood parts including 11-43 barrel, P-U (etched to look like B-U for some reason and UEF GHD (very faint) stock, trigger housing, slide, bolt, firing pin, and trigger. Excellent and shiny bore that measures just over a 1 using a CMP gauge, so this should be a great shooting rifle. Type 3 bayonet lug has been cut off to resemble a Type 2 band. No import marks.
